Hello! My name is Anna, and I am the sole owner and employee here at Tappy Paws, so I will be the one to look after your house and/or pets!
This business started very organically, as just a casual thing where I was the go-to person in my neighborhood to baby-sit, then pet-sit once those kids grew up a bit. I was very happy about that, because as great as kids are, my true passion has always been animals. I am very comfortable with them, and have years of experience caring for all kinds of cats, dogs, and fish.
Anna has looked after my 3 cats many times over the last 3 years. She is the BEST. She always checked in with me prior to confirm and was super diligent, punctual, and reliable. She followed all my cats specific feeding routines and always made sure they were okay. I felt super confident knowing she was looking after my three moggies (and my home!) while I was away. 10/10 recommend Anna to anyone, I will keep getting her to cat sit in the future!

Pet-Sitting
I offer pet-sitting services to all kinds of pets, including but not limited to dogs, cats, and fish. All pet-sitting prices for these services are decided on an individual basis depending on a few different factors including the number of animals, their needs and behaviours, as well as location. All these services also include basic house maintenance, such as collecting mail and shoveling snow if necessary.
If you have never worked with me before, please fill out the first form, but if you are a return customer – thank you! That means I have your information already, so please feel free to use the second, simpler form.
Please note: All pets MUST be completely house-broken.
Pet-Sitting Options
- Pet-sitting in YOUR home
This option is when I come and live in your home and look after both your animal(s) and your house from there, which can be appealing for animals who are stressed easily or who have stricter schedules.
- Pet-sitting in MY home
This option is when I take your pet into my home for the duration of your trip and look after them there. This is less expensive than me coming into your home, but it requires that your animal is good with others, as we have a family dog. This option is also only available for single animals.
- Feeding visits
This option is only available for those with extremely independent animals such as cats or fish, as I will only be stopping in to feed the animals and do the occasional maintenance required for them, such as cleaning litter boxes. This would be the least expensive option available.
House-Sitting
I also offer a variety of house-sitting services, all of which can be customized to suit your personal needs. From the basics like collecting mail, to checking on bathrooms, watering plants, or even turning lights on and off at intervals to make the house look lived in. All these will be negotiated individually, so I do not have any pre-set or general options.
